Implementation of a new companywide IP based telephone system. Our satellite offices are now reachable by extension number from our main office and vice versa. All of our employees also have direct inward dial numbers, giving our customers ability to reach individuals direct without going through the receptionist. Some of our outside sales people have IP telephones in their home offices, giving them the ability to stay in touch with our main office as well as all their customers. |

Eastern Controls, Inc. has undertaken several steps to capitalize on the strengths of our sales force. We have created a separate “Pharmaceutical” division with an independent sales force specifically assigned to promote our “Sanitary” products. This move allowed our technical sales force to concentrate on promoting our pharmaceutical products and growing our pharmaceutical sales. This growth has been significant and has averaged over 20% per year since the dedicated pharmaceutical division was formed in 1999. |

Eastern Controls, Inc. has also increased our Warehouse, Shop, and Repair capabilities by over 300% in the last year. We can now perform Control Valve and Instrument Repair, Valve Actuation, Specialty Cabinet Design and Manufacture, as well as On-Site field service in addition to the assembly, calibration, and testing services we have performed for many years. This increased capability, along with our large warehouse and inventory management systems, has lead Eastern Controls, Inc. into a variety of service opportunities. It also allows ECI to further increase our presence as a technologically capable value-added supplier. |
