Satisfying Customer Needs with Predictive Analysis

In the control valve world, there is a multitude of different possible configurations. As a supplier of control valves, Eastern Controls’ resourcefulness knows no bounds. We set ourselves apart from the rest by statistically predicting our customers’ requirements using advanced methods of data analytics. Eastern Controls stocks an array of partially assembled valves in various stages based on these statistical predictions. These stages may extend anywhere from a subassembly with an actuator, to a fully-built and seat-leaked valve with a positioner.

Earlier this month, one of ECI’s customers required a control valve with a specific set of needs. A quote was issued that day and a purchase order was received within thirty minutes. Eastern Controls had a valve in stock that was already built and seat leaked with the correct body material, end connection, actuator position, seat size, seat material, SVI mounting bracket, and tubed positioner airset. The only assembly required included mounting the customer’s selection of an SVI positioner.

With only hours to spare, the valve was complete and ready for overnight shipment the very next morning. With this kind of predictive analysis, Eastern Controls can achieve extraordinary customer satisfaction.

Outstanding ECI Technician, Chris Delsordo

Eastern Controls’ Service department has over 40 years of experience providing application expertise, root cause analysis, and value-added services. Our Service Technician, Chris Delsordo, recently went above and beyond to help Dave Fazzini, Director of Global Pharmaceutical Projects at Turck. Mr. Fazzini required assistance in configuring/calibrating a HART/FF device, so Chris stopped to help on his way home. Mr. Fazzini was very appreciative of Chris’s willingness to help and shared these sentiments with ECI. Great job, Chris!
