Position Description:

This role is ideal for graduating students from technical schools and those new to the industrial automation industry in a technical capacity. Alongside our manufacturing partners, our robust training and mentoring program prepares technicians for success both in the shop and field, allowing them to grow and evolve into the technical experts our customers rely on.

Responsibilities:

  • Shadow* hands on training* senior staff/group leaders for a training period up to six months.
  • Provide technical support and information to customers and field sales staff as needed, until completion of service request.
  • Follow ECI QA procedures and work instructions as directed in ECI service shop and on site.
  • Respond to scheduled and unscheduled repairs
  • Performs assembly and assists with troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on related instrumentation.
  • Responsible for assembling and disassembling of components and instrumentation as instructed.
  • Performs calibration on mechanical and electronic instruments, machinery, and components.
  • Ability to work during outage season and adhere to vacation blackouts (typically October and April each year).

Position Description

We are seeking an energetic, self-driven technical sales professional to join our Thermal Sales team. This valuable role drives profitability and sales while providing support and mentorship to outside sales employees. The qualified candidate will have 5-7 years of quantifiable outside sales success and 2-5 years successful supervisory experience of outside sales staff. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will be the go-to resource for all sales, technical, and commercial aspects of the ECI Thermal products.

Responsibilities

The qualified candidate will successfully navigate the business development, account management and service driver aspects of the role, including but not limited to:

  • Drive sales and profitability for ECI portfolio of Thermal Products to achieve ECI and Principal Targets.
  • Meet and exceed assigned territory sales goals through strategic account management, relationship-building and development, and capitalizing on opportunities to cross-sell additional products, service and undertake turnkey projects.
  • Serve as the go-to product champion and solution resource for ECI Sales Team and the “trusted advisor” to your customers.
  • Coach sales team to increase knowledge and sales of targeted products.
  • Drive Eastern Controls’ Engineering, Procurement, and Construction capabilities to the market; partner with ECI’s engineers to deliver ideal outcomes to customers.

Qualifications         

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2-5 years relative experience.

Position Description

This is a fast-paced, technical sales position with a fun company that requires discipline to continually push yourself to network with customers, care for their needs, challenge their technical needs, and help them solve problems. This candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel within the territory and be able to generate new sales leads on a regular basis. The candidate should be able to keep track of their sales and effectively communicate with other team members while out in the field. Responsibilities

The qualified candidate will successfully navigate the business development, account management and service driver aspects of the role, including but not limited to:

  • Generating new business and ensuring growth of existing accounts. Assess potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key existing customers supporting current business activity as well as creating new sales opportunities.
  • Establish working relationships with principals, traveling and setting up sales calls supporting all activities in region.
  • Consistently prospecting to identify new contacts/opportunities, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting and proactive engagement of sales region.
  • Visit customers on behalf of ECI’s products and services in the assigned territory for the specific purpose of driving incremental growth.
  • Make joint sales calls with management and principals upon request/demand.
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers, perform product demonstrations and presentations that differentiate key selling advantages to meet customers’ needs to support and build sales.
  • Research and develop efficient methods to present solutions showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing manufacturer’s products.
  • Work closely with inside staff, management and principals learning the details of ECI’s product lines, systems, processes, and tools. Utilize principals tooling to provide customers with solutions and solving their technical problems.
  • Keep management informed of all activity via CRM, including opportunities and presentations to clients, communicating customer feedback on future developments, quoted, and booked sales.
  • Maintain a home office to allow for regular two-way communication. (High speed internet and cell phone coverage at your residence is required).
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the industry.
  • Ability to learn ECI’s CRM and mileage reimbursement programs and use on a laptop or an iPad.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Prefer 1-3 years’ technical sales experience.
  • Must carry a strong technical aptitude and curiosity. Knowledge of electrical heat trace is a major plus.
  • Industrial Automation or Process Industry experience. Understand industry stakeholders (End Users, Integrators, and/or Engineering Firms).

Position Description 

Provides in depth product and applications knowledge as well as sales support. Supports an exceptional experience with customers. AS/ Engineering Project Leader is responsible for leading the design, detail engineering, proposals, and project management of industrial thermal management solutions in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides in-depth product and applications knowledge as well as sales support.
  • Responsible for creating an exceptional experience with an assigned customer base. Build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Primary duties include all quotations and responses to technical questions along with proposal development for single item and large projects.

  • A familiarity with the Process Industry – working with end users, integrators, and/or engineering firms.

The Rotational Sales Engineering Program is designed for new or recent graduates to expose them to each step in the industrial sales and engineering process. They will develop technical skills and business acumen while gaining meaningful experience leading into an outside sales position. Following a corporate and technical onboarding period, candidates will participate in a personalized 7-9-month development program that includes rotations of at least 8 weeks in service, sales, and technical support.

  • Application Engineering Rotation: Provide excellent support to internal and external customers by answering technical questions (primarily post-sales), diagnosing, and troubleshooting product issues involving Endress+Hauser equipment via phone and email. This rotation will be hosted by our business partner Endress+Hauser at their USA Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.
  • Applications Specialist Rotation: Assist customers in specifying proper products/applications to meet application-specific requirements, and performing technical research, quoting, and order tracking to support the outside sales force.
  • Business Development Rotation: Work alongside senior sales team members by participating in customer site visits, lunch and learns, business development initiatives, and sales calls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering); or bachelor’s degree in business with a technical concentration (Business and Engineering Degree, Engineering Entrepreneurship, Industrial Distribution, etc.).
  • Internship/Co-op or work experience in engineering or technical sales field preferred.

Role and Responsibilities

This key role in the company maintains receipts of in-bound shipments and prepares orders for outbound shipment. Maintains the inventory, transactions, and provides outstanding customer service, along with continuous process improvement. Responsible for supporting and working on various project for the in-house and field repair and assembly.

Position Description

  • Ability to work during outage season and adhere to vacation blackouts (typically October and April each year).
  • Ability to respond to occasional on-call requests outside the regular work hours.
  • Notifies supervisor regarding parts or equipment in need of repair or replacement.
  • Performs all duties according to safety procedures and safety best practices.
  • Ability to take to Mechanical Aptitude Test and submit to random drug and alcohol testing through DISA program.
  • Notifies supervisor of any safety concerns on or off-site.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in technical field preferred.
  • Demonstrates basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Any knowledge of electrical and hydraulic actuators and familiarity with Pneumatics is a strong plus.
  • Ability and knowledge of how to use hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting & repair skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work independently and exercise good judgment.
  • Curiosity and desire to learn.
  • Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.
