The Role:

The service coordinator acts a communicator for the department and interacts daily with all service technicians and managers as well as clients and other members of the ECI team. The position provides primary oversight and direction to all matters of company property, including commercial building(s), and tools and equipment.

 The Role:

  • Review customer needs for Valve Repair in both field and ECI shop. Establish baseline information including all details pertaining to work to be completed.
  • Establish customer timeline for work to be performed. Schedule site walk downs as needed based on job scale and complexity. Coordinate field service technician schedules to support the work to be performed.
  • Review tag and serial information to determine correct replacement parts required to perform everything from open/inspect to full trim replacements and actuator repairs. Work with field service team to determine all parts, tools and equipment that will be needed onsite.
  • Quote the end user regarding the RFQ using the CRM.
  • Quote follow up.
  • Enter the order in our ERP once the PO is received.
  • Communicate with the customer and Technicians to schedule the service once the order is entered.
  • Communicate with field service team to determine job progress and revise schedules as needed. Communicate with customer.
  • Follow up with Customer after work has been performed to establish satisfactory completion of work.
  • Assist the Inside Sales department on quotations for valve parts. Specifically on serial files that tie back to older series valves.
  • Cover quotes for valve parts for specific accounts with heavy installed base of Masoneilan.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who We’re Seeking:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least two to five years in a related field.
  • Coordination experience preferred.
  • PA Driver’s license.
  • Experience with ERP’s, CRM’s or related systems such as sales software packages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.

  • 1-3 years’ experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM platform.
  • Familiarity with the industrial automation/ process control industry – working with end users, integrators, and/or engineering firm- a bonus.
  • Technical aptitude – knowledge of instrumentation, gas detection, and/or valves is a major plus.

The Role:

We are looking for energetic and self-driven individuals to join the Business Development team. This role is perfect for someone with an engineering background looking to get into sales, or someone with a business background willing to learn the technical (product) side. This position works at ECI’s corporate office in Edgemont, PA for a minimum of 24-36 months with the goal of transitioning to an outside sales role.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships via continuous contact with prospective and current clients via phone, email, and other sales/marketing campaigns/promotions.
  • Identify decision makers, sharing and extracting pertinent information and delivering sales messages.
  • Describe in detail technical products and services to develop and grow sales with new and existing customers in a defined territory.
  • Daily high-volume outbound phone calls.
  • Follow up on quotes: sales, service, and parts orders, working with customers to have a repair or installation scheduled; ensuring all steps are followed.
  • Contact potential customers listed in our database and set up appointments for outside sales team members as required.
  • Works closely with the team to increase the sales effort and expected results such as increasing open quote hit rate, uncovering new product sales opportunities, etc.
  • Work diligently to meet or exceed sales goals assigned to himself/herself as an individual and support the department’s overall goals.
  • Assist other aftermarket/inside sales team members with special projects as requested.
  • Occasional travel to other ECI locations or other related areas for training purposes.
  • Participate in sales specific activities and projects that arise throughout the year such as special projects, training, participation in customer related meetings, and trade shows.

Who We’re Seeking:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Two to five years’ experience as a Customer Service Representative, inside sales representative, or other relevant experience required.

The Rotational Sales Engineering Program is designed for new or recent graduates to expose them to each step in the industrial sales and engineering process. They will develop technical skills and business acumen while gaining meaningful experience leading into an outside sales position. Following a corporate and technical onboarding period, candidates will participate in a personalized 7-9-month development program that includes rotations of at least 8 weeks in service, sales, and technical support.

  • Application Engineering Rotation: Provide excellent support to internal and external customers by answering technical questions (primarily post-sales), diagnosing, and troubleshooting product issues involving Endress+Hauser equipment via phone and email. This rotation will be hosted by our business partner Endress+Hauser at their USA Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.
  • Applications Specialist Rotation: Assist customers in specifying proper products/applications to meet application-specific requirements, and performing technical research, quoting, and order tracking to support the outside sales force.
  • Business Development Rotation: Work alongside senior sales team members by participating in customer site visits, lunch and learns, business development initiatives, and sales calls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering); or bachelor’s degree in business with a technical concentration (Business and Engineering Degree, Engineering Entrepreneurship, Industrial Distribution, etc.).
  • Internship/Co-op or work experience in engineering or technical sales field preferred.

The Role:

This position entails both in-house repairs as well as travel to our varied customer sites (including power, energy, process, chemical, manufacturing, life sciences, pharma, food and beverage, and commercial) in New Jersey and the greater NYC metro area, troubleshooting and repair of the various instrumentation lines based on the manufacturer’s specifications. Approximately 15% is overnight, primarily in the spring and fall coinciding with plant outages. We’re currently seeking both early career and seasoned technicians.

  • Performs calibration and repairs based on manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Reads PO / appointment invites and understands scope of work and expectation of the customer.
  • Ensures the necessary and proper tools are on-hand for job assignment.
  • Reviews and challenge coordinator that proper information is included in the job assignment for executing the efficiently.
  • Communicates to Supervisor and Coordinator comfort level, ability or inability to complete assignment based on current skill set.
  • Completes trip documentation within one week following the completion of each assignment.
  • Ensures that work assigned vehicles are up to date on maintenance requests, clean and well organized.
  • Responds to scheduled and unscheduled work orders.
  • Provides technical support and information to customers and sales staff as needed.
  • Follow ECI QA procedures and work instructions as directed in ECI service shop and on site.
  • Responds to on-call requests outside of set work hours.
  • Looks for additional opportunities within account and reports information to Services Operations Manager.
  • Manages projects (including outage work and long-term assignments) in conjunction with Services Operations Manager.

Position Description

This is a fast-paced, technical sales position with a fun company that requires discipline to continually push yourself to network with customers, care for their needs, challenge their technical needs, and help them solve problems. This candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel within the territory and be able to generate new sales leads on a regular basis. The candidate should be able to keep track of their sales and effectively communicate with other team members while out in the field. The qualified candidate will have 1-3 years of quantifiable outside sales success. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be your customer’s go-to resource for all sales, technical, and commercial aspects of the ECI Thermal products.

Responsibilities
The qualified candidate will successfully navigate the business development, account management and service driver aspects of the role, including but not limited to:

  • Generating new business and ensuring growth of existing accounts. Assess potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key existing customers supporting current business activity as well as creating new sales opportunities.
  • Establish working relationships with principals, traveling and setting up sales calls supporting all activities in region.
  • Consistently prospecting to identify new contacts/opportunities, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting and proactive engagement of sales region.
  • Visit customers on behalf of ECI’s products and services in the assigned territory for the specific purpose of driving incremental growth.
