Available Positions

For 50 years, Eastern Controls has served as a trusted business partner for our customers by delivering technical excellence, outstanding service, and above-and-beyond support. As an Application Specialist, you are the customer advocate for Eastern Controls and our manufacturing partners.

The ideal candidate will possess the education, skills, competencies, and availability outlined below:

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree with a technical and/or business concentration
  • A familiarity with the Process Industry – working with end users, integrators, and/or engineering firms
  • Technical aptitude – knowledge of instrumentation, gas detection, and/or valves is a major plus
  • Professional sales acumen – consistently striving to grow and develop business opportunities assisting Outside Sales Representatives
  • Living within a commutable distance of our main office in Edgemont, PA is highly preferred

This position entails everyday travel to our varied customers (including power, energy, process, chemical, manufacturing, life sciences, pharma, food and beverage, and commercial) in Metro New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and D.C. areas to perform assembly and disassembly, assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, installation, and repairs of the various product lines based on the manufacturers specifications.

Approx. 15% is overnight, primarily in the spring and fall coinciding with plant outages.

The ideal candidate will possess the education, skills, competencies, and availability outlined below:

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Technical Field Preferred.
  • Experience as an electromechanical field tech doing calibration and repairs preferred.
  • Demonstrates basic electrical and mechanical knowledge. Any knowledge of electrical and hydraulic actuators and familiarity with Pneumatics is a strong plus.
  • Ability and knowledge of how to use hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
  • Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.

Eastern Controls, Inc. (ECI) has an immediate opening for an experienced and professional Customer Service Representative with superior customer service skills, strong ability to learn mechanical engineering principles and products, advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, experience with CRM and ERP Systems and accurate data entry skills to join our team working in our state-of-the-art headquarters in Edgemont PA.

This position provides a high level of support to our inside and outside sales team as well as our external customers and Principals with complete, accurate basic quote timely order processing, customer follow up, order status, and quote processing to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will possess the education, skills, competencies, and availability outlined below:

Qualifications:

  •  3-5 years’ experience in a similar customer-facing role.
  • High School Diploma, Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP Systems.
