REXA Electraulic™ Actuation
What is Electraulic™ Actuation Technology?
REXA is committed to maximizing your return on investment and supporting you over the long term. REXA actuators deliver unparalleled performance with little cost of ownership and whether you have goals of maximizing uptime, increasing throughput and efficiency, or improving safety you can #RelyOnREXA.
Electraulic™ Actuation consists of two major components: the mechanical sub-assembly and the electrical sub-assembly. Each component plays a critical role in combining the benefits of major actuator types (pneumatic, electric, hydraulic) while eliminating the drawbacks of each technology. The foundation of our technology is the patented breakthrough in hydraulic circuitry called the Flow Matching Valve System. In conjunction with a bi-directional gear pump coupled to either a DC stepper or AC servo motor, this system is a highly efficient method of moving hydraulic fluid from one side of a double-acting cylinder to the other.
REXA provides both Linear and Rotary actuators, as well as Damper Drives, depending on your application. You can learn more by clicking the images to the right.

How it Works

Linear Actuators
REXA Xpac Series 3 Linear Actuators provide rigid hydraulic stability and immediate signal response with no oil-based maintenance.

Rotary Actuators
REXA Xpac Series 3 Rotary Actuators provide reliable quarter-turn actuation with a simple rack and pinion design.

Damper Drives
REXA Damper Drives can be configured to utilize a rack and pinion hydraulic cylinder or a double-acting linear cylinder driven by one or more Electraulic™ Power Modules.
