EDGEMONT, PA – Eastern Controls, Inc. (ECI) hosted a surprise party for Ed Lempa’s 75th birthday on July 27th, 2016. Employees from the Verona, NJ, and Ashland, VA sites traveled to ECI headquarters (Edgemont, PA) for a barbeque featuring delicious hamburgers and hotdogs grilled by ECI’s very own grill-master, Gary Lee.
Afterwards, all ECI employees surprised Ed by bringing out a huge cake to officially celebrate his big day. It was a fantastic party planned and executed by the Marketing and Administrative teams.
Ed Lempa has been a member of the Eastern Controls team since May of 2012, but has over 40 years of experience in the Industrial Controls industry. He is a Supervisor within the Instrumentation department where his duties include providing technical support and information to customers, as well as performing training, diagnostics, maintenance, assembly, troubleshooting, and repairs. His specialties include ISA instrumentation, specifically pneumatics. With Ed’s extensive instrumentation knowledge, ECI is lucky to have such a valuable source for employees and customers.
