Sr. Executive Vice President of Operations, Dave Chalson spoke about Mariner EastThe Mariner East Project 2 is building a new pipeline capacity from Ohio through West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware that transports Natural Gas Liquids to the Marcus Hook facility along the Delaware River. The project will expand the project’s capacity to move natural gas liquids from the Marcellus and Utica Shales to additional on-loading and off-loading points within Pennsylvania via two pipelines.
Eastern Controls has worked with Sunoco Logistics for over 30 years. This relationship gives ECI the opportunity to provide resources such as education, employment, and industry expertise to the Delaware County community.
The viability of the Mariner East 2 is depended on a skilled and trained workforce. Eastern Controls, with its Process Training Unit (PTU™), is prepared to take on some of that responsibility. Our PTU™ is a state-of-the-art, fully instrumented and controlled facility where technicians and engineers alike can receive hands-on experience in the latest field instruments and controls.
In the wake of recent pipeline breaks, ECI has the capability to aid in safety, measurement, and maintenance, helping to keep the local community safe.
For more information on how ECI can provide training, please call our headquarters at 610-325-4600.
